This edible cookie dough recipe is meant to be enjoyed by the spoonful. No baking required! This recipe doesn't contain eggs at all, but it does contain all-purpose flour - that's why it's important to heat-treat the flour before incorporating it into the dough. The key ingredients are flour, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, milk, and chocolate chips. To make the edible cookie dough, you'll need to heat-treat the flour and then combine the ingredients to form a crumbly dough. The edible cookie dough can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or in the freezer for up to one month.
all-purpose flour
1 cup
packed brown sugar
0.8 cup

0.5 cup
vanilla extract
1 tsp
salt
0.5 tsp
milk
2 l
milk chocolate chips
0.5 cup
mini chocolate chips
0.5 cup

Steps

1.Step 1

Heat-treat your flour by placing it in a microwave-safe dish and cooking for 1 minute and 15 seconds, stirring it every 15 seconds. Then, set the flour aside.

2.Step 2

Cream the sugar and butter using an electric mixer in a large bowl. Then, mix in the vanilla extract and salt. Add the heat-treated flour and mix until a crumbly dough forms. Stir in the milk until the dough is just combined, and then fold in the milk chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips.
