Steps

Place carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, onion, and celery in the slow cooker. Place stew meat over the vegetables.

In a medium bowl, combine soup mix with canned soup. Add water and mix well. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker over the meat and vegetables.

Add water until it just reaches the bottom of the meat.

Cook on low setting overnight, adding more water as needed in the morning, and continue cooking all day to reach a total of 24 hours.
