Napoleon is a multi-layer cake made of crispy cake layers soaked in delicate cream. The top is usually decorated with crumbs, which gives the cake a nice texture. The combination of sweet cream and crunchy layers makes it a classic dessert.

Steps
1.Preparing the Egg Mixture
In a bowl, beat eggs with salt, add water, cognac and vinegar, mix well.
2.Preparation of flour mass
Rub the cold butter into the flour and mix until large pieces of butter disappear.
3.Kneading dough
Pour the egg mixture into the flour and butter, knead the dough, divide it into 12 parts and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
4.Preparing the cream
For the cream, mix sugar, flour, eggs and vanilla. Gradually add milk, heat and cook until thick, then add butter and cool.
5.Baking cakes
Roll each piece of dough into a circle, bake the cakes one by one at 200°C.
6.Preparing cream with butter
Stir the butter into the cooled cream, brush the cakes, stacking them on top of each other.
7.Making crumbs
Grind the scraps into crumbs and sprinkle over the top and sides of the cake.
8.Cooling and impregnation
Refrigerate the cake for 3-4 hours to soak.
